I have a Doubt

I have a nagging doubt that everything I think, everything I imagine, everything that I am and can be is just a complex bio-chemical interaction of organic molecules and energy.

That, all that is, perceived, dreamt, experienced, pain and pleasure felt, is but a transient flitter of conscious experience that will pass as quickly as it came.

Yet at the bottom most reaches of my doubt, lies the feeling of experience, the essential-ness of it, the need for something to exist, just a bit more, just a little longer.

I have a doubt, and it is knawing at me.
